Image is a colorful state map of the continental Unites States of America with a question and large question mark superimposed asking: Does Your State Do the "Dutch Reach"? The question is posed to encourage all state and municipal bicycle coalitions and departments of transportation and traffic safety to introduce and teach the Dutch Rearch far hand method as the safest way to open car doorings when exiting to avoid dooring crashes with bicyclists.
